Charitable Incorporated Organisation - 2021 AGM

The First AGM of the new CIO was held on 5 Aug 21

Year 2021 was a turning point in the history of the Marlow Museum.

Registered Charity 1129346, the charity the museum started with, was Closed at the AGM on 21 June 2021.

The museum is now registered as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) No.1187853 with the first Annual General Meeting of the CIO on Thurs 5 August at 1500 by Zoom. All members of the Marlow Museum Centre Project were invited to attend.

Nominations of volunteers as Trustees, Officers and Committee plus any Motions for discussion were invited to be sent to the Secretary. 

It was hoped that by 2022 all members’ meetings will be held live in Marlow.

Members will be pleased to note that the museum is working towards Accreditation over the next 2/3 years.

This will bring a number of benefits to the operation of the museum...... and a lot of hard work.
