10 May 19 - 10 Years Old
Marlow Museum celebrated it's 10th birthday on Friday 10th May 2019. The event was enjoyed by about 60 members, friends, volunteers, supporters and town councillors.
The Museum Chairman and founding member, Mike Hyde, gave a welcoming talk, including a brief history of the activities building up to the opening of the museum ten years ago.
The Mayor, Chris Funnell, thanked the museum for it's considerable contribution to Marlow.
Michael Eagleton, local photographic historian and also one of the founding members of the museum, recounted some of the initial venue searching for the museum and then, at Mike's request, cut the ribbon to formally open the new exhibition: The Story of Marlow.
